At CU it's used for several courses, so it's more than just an introductory book. Although my current professor does a phenomenal job at teaching the material, I honestly feel that I could fully understand the course material by only reading this textbook.

The only draw back is that flectronics with most text books they hold back a lot of good stuff for instructor slides etc. So far it's fine. This is THE book to get you on your way to understanding power conversion systems.
