For example, in the beginning of McCarthy's pregnancy, she was constipated, so she visited a specialist. Perhaps the people who enjoy this are ones who are on their third or fourth kid and just need something to pass the time.

She entertained me while enlightening me on a few details that it are nice to know, such as which means a contraction every 4 minutes that lasts 1 minute in length for 1 hour. I agree with the other reviewers who said this book mccarty funny.
McCarthy's tales are, for the most part, a hoot, though they may offend more uptight readers. It's a very light, easy read And I want to laugh about it, because, damn it, it's funny. A reader with more frequent or severe symptoms may not appreciate the silliness as much or maybe she will if she needs a sympathy laughor a reader who is a bit more anxious about pregnancy and its "delights" I've been almost exaggeratedly calm, so do not use me as an example. I I thought this book would be funnier than it was. Jenny definitely rips the covers off with her personal experiences and offers seemingly good advice throughout the entire book.
